Trane Matching Funds Policy

For nearly 30 years, Trane Technologies has provided matching funds to support individual employee donations, reinforcing its commitment to corporate citizenship and its role as a major annual corporate donor to ASHRAE’s RP campaign. By participating in this program, employees can support the RP Campaign while aligning with Trane Technologies’ mission of being a responsible corporate citizen.

Matching Funds Details

  • Eligibility: Trane corporate employees can have RP donations of up to $2,500 matched by Trane Technologies. The matching amount will be applied toward the employee’s chapter RP goal.
    • Donor must be regularly employed full-time by Trane Technologies Plc at the time the donation is made.
    • Donors whose ASHRAE profiles include trane.com or tranetechnologies.com email address and/or have “Trane” listed as employer will be vetted against a list of eligible employees provided by Trane Technologies, who will make the final decision on which donor gifts will be matched.

Guidelines

  • Individual Contributions: Trane Matching Funds are intended to match contributions from individuals only. Gifts should not be made using Chapter funds.
  • Contribution Timing: Matching funds are limited, and gifts are matched in the order they are received. Eligible donors should make their gifts no later than February 28 each year.
  • Exceeding $2,500: If an individual chooses to contribute over $2,500, the excess amount may be matched by Trane if sufficient funds are available after June 1.
